At Koning Willem I College, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands we are aiming to create a centralized, user-friendly digital hub for faculty and staff. Hosted on SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365), this intranet will (further) streamline communication, enhance collaboration, and provide easy access to essential resources and information.

Main objectives for Phase I

  1. Resource Accessibility: Provide easy access to (educational) materials, administrative forms, and other critical resources through a well-organized and searchable document repository.
  2. Branding: Creation of SharePoint theme, templates and site collections that look and feel that they belong to one environment.

Key features during Phase I

  1. Organisation site: Who is Koning Willem I College, introductions of board, departments and faculties, who can I contact, what are the most used resources.
  2. Departmental Sites: Dedicated sites for multiple departments or faculty, providing tailored information and resources.
  3. Search Functionality: Robust search capabilities to quickly find documents, people, and information.

Expected Outcomes

  • Improved communication and information dissemination across the organization.
  • Increased engagement and sense of community within the educational institution.
  • Streamlined access to resources, reducing time spent searching for information.
